Jan Menzer studied political science and psychology at the University of Leipzig. For numerous years he has been working as a foreign policy expert, speechwriter and office manager in the German Bundestag. In particular, he dealt with parliamentary standing orders and the Mediation Committee of the German Bundestag and the Bundesrat. He teaches International Relations and Comparative Government at several universities in Berlin and Moscow. As Associate Fellow he contributes to the IParl’s international policy advice efforts.
