Daniel Hellmann
is a doctoral candidate at the Martin-Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg after completing his master's degree in the programme “Parliamentary Questions and Civil Society” there. He is interested in electoral systems and possible reforms to German electoral law. His master’s thesis was written on the topic of ’nudging,’ meaning a soft form of governing, inspired by behavioral science.
